Worship Arts Director

Job Overview
The Worship Arts Director will be the “producer” of each worship service and special program at Living Way by overseeing and coordinating all of the logistic, technological, and musical details that a service encompasses. This is not done for the sake of production itself, but to lead people to encounter the greatness of God in Christ Jesus through the worship arts. The Worship Arts Director must be able to develop and communicate a vision in a way that inspires those around him to join in the pursuit and execution of that vision.

Responsibilities & Duties
- Oversee proper stewardship of the worship department budget, organization, and volunteers.
- Plan and execute the musical and technological aspects of the corporate worship services of Living Way in consultation with and submission to the Lead Pastor(s), doing so with prayer, conceptual forethought, theological accuracy, and musical appropriateness.
- Ensure that all musical and technical aspects advance the theme and vision for each service. These include, but are not limited to song selection, media preparation/presentation, sound and lighting enhancements, and coordination of all instrumentalists, vocalists, etc.
- Oversee scheduling on the church website platform CCB (Church Community Builder) and thoughtfully build necessary teams to carry out the vision of each service.
- Oversee the need for the worship arts in other church ministries (‘Kingdom Kids’ Children’s Ministry, Monthly Prayer Meetings, Yearly Off-Site Church Retreat, etc.)

Qualifications
- A clear testimony of faith in Christ Jesus and a vital, growing, personal relationship with Him.
- A team player with a positive attitude, relational skills, and an enthusiastic presence.
- Skilled in choral, vocal, and instrumental arrangement/direction.
- Skilled in organizational and administrative duties with the ability to develop deep interpersonal relationships.
- Skilled and knowledgeable in the use of technology to further the vision and production of a service. This includes, but is not limited to the use of sound production, lighting, computers, video projection, livestream recordings, various software programs, (ProPresenter, ‘Playback’ Multitrack Software or other backing track software, Lightkey or other DMX Lighting Control Software) and other forms as needed.
- Ability to help bring to spiritual maturity both the congregation and the individuals within the worship arts ministry.
- Availability to work 40 hours a week, 28 hours of which in-office, with the remainder devoted to ministerial duties as defined by the Lead Pastor(s).

Youth Ministry Director

Job Overview
The youth ministry director is in charge of overseeing all aspects of the youth ministry at Living Way Community Church for students between grades 6 through 12 (middle school and high school students respectively). With the guiding biblical principle of the students’ parents being their “first pastors”, the job of the youth ministry director is to partner with the parents and assist them to minister to their children both educationally and through their own lifestyle. The youth ministry director will administer, develop, and implement youth ministry programs designed to meet the spiritual, social, and emotional needs of the youth, leading them to spiritual commitments and disciplines.

Responsibilities & Duties
- Maintain an authentic and growing walk with Jesus Christ through the ongoing spiritual disciplines of Bible reading, prayer, personal worship, fasting, confession, and fellowship.
- Oversee all logistics of running middle school and high school ministries separately, as well as the youth group as a whole (both ministries together).
- Oversee curriculum choices in conjunction with the lead pastors, which are theologically accurate, engaging, and age appropriate for the middle school and high school ministries respectively.
- Oversee logistics of yearly and monthly youth ministry programs: “Pray for Me Campaign”, “Serve Sunday”, “Graduation Sunday”, etc.
- Communicate well and often with the parents to assist them in being the “first pastors” of their children.
- Oversee proper stewardship of the youth ministry budget, organization, and volunteers.
- Must become a member of the church upon hiring.

- Must display the fruit of a vibrant, steadfast, consistent walk with Christ.
- Must operate with the conviction that the gospel of Jesus Christ must be at the center of all we do in ministry to youth.
